Vibrant Comics Studio

The second Vibrant Comics title production has started, but no details of the story is official yet. It is a comic for youngsters, and its already on the drawingboard a really hit internal in Vibrant Comics, what is under development now seems to be somthing young readers can look forward to. The production will have a real Norwegian/Scandinavian signature, which exites us very much in our goal of making good alternative comics. The first story ad development of the story universe is made by the illustrator Åshild Kanstad Johnsen and Fredrik Rysjedal.

Kodémus is the first project Vibrant Comics creates, it is prodused in a early phase of the company establisment, which has caused the long production and ongoing production phase. Kodémus is going to become a fairly long story as well in about 200 images long. The production timeline will be detemined of the finansial support the project gets.  In the start it got some funds from Grafill, City of Bergen and the Norwegian Art Council, which have bin very important to the birth of this project. Now the final steps is about to be executed, and it will be exiting if we got support to pull it through this authumn.

Kodémus is in the middle of production, several other unofficial titles are under development, but even before the first title is out Vibrant announces that the comic label can offer external productions for web or exhibit installations. We believe that screen-based comics is an intersting way to tell stories where the user involves in the audio/visual experience.
